Statement on an organic certification review

In May 2025, the Servicio Agrícola y Ganadero (SAG) notified Desert King Chile S.A. of a complaint concerning three organic production batches from 2021. An internal review identified a non-intentional administrative error. Corrective and preventive actions were implemented and submitted to SAG, which closed the case on July 29, 2025 through Exempt Resolution No. 2004/2025.

Desert King also voluntarily reported the matter to its organic certifier, ECOCERT. Following a review of the corrective actions, traceability and mass-balance records across subsequent seasons, ECOCERT confirmed that the event was isolated and that no further deviations were identified.

The review did not affect Desert King’s ongoing operations or the compliance of product currently in the market. Internal controls, verification and traceability procedures have been reinforced as a result of the review.
